Description
We board Danny Buoy with a glass of champers in hand and enjoy a 2 hour cruise around the dam, taking in all the sights and sounds of Harties up-close. Canapés are served as well as a selection of hot and cold cocktail snacks on this cruise of celebration. There is just something magical about seeing the sunset over Harties.
Harties Boat Company would like to welcome you aboard Danny Buoy to experience Hartbeespoort Dam from the water on one of our daily lunch cruises. Our route takes us from Kommandonek, passed Caribbean Estate and Sandy Lane golf course to the Kosmos foreshore and the quaint Kosmos Village to the dam wall. Passing the zoo and snake park as well as the Transvaal Yacht Club. We then hit open waters and cruise across to Eagle Waters and Pecanwood estate and golf course, taking a look at some of these fantastic waterfront homes. We then head passed The Islands and back to the harbour. All of this while sipping on bubbly, enjoying a buffet of gourmet finger and fork snacks and good conversation.
Please don’t bring any cooler boxes or outside drinks allowed as we are a licensed venue.
Kindly note your entrance fee per adult is R60.00, R40.00 for children and R60.00 per car or bus, this allows you entry into the resort as a day visitor from 8am - 6pm so please feel free to come early and enjoy the public braai, picnic areas as well as the wildlife.

Loved the cruise. A nice break away from the usual tours one does by road. Very friendly staff from the time we arrived there. And the crew on the boat were very friendly and keen to serve as well. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to get out on the Sam at a very reasonable price.
They respect time, they started on time and the cruise was surely 2 hours long. The welcome drinks were available in alcoholic and non-alcoholic, of which we ended up enjoying the most.
The waiters are constantly moving around making ordering easy. If you explain that your boarding is for a special occasion, they make it beautiful according to the occasion. The food was indeed a three course meal of a buffet type- hence no variety on the starter and dessert.
We enjoyed the scenic views, seeing the beautiful houses along the route and admiring other people engaging in water sports. We had a lot of fun, it was memorable.
This cruise was amazing. We booked a sunset cruise for like 2 hours. The price was worth it. The views were great. See the picture that I uploaded, this boat is perfect for proposals also , just make sure you seat at the back. There is usually easier movement there.
