These guys are brilliant! I had the opportunity to be on a 400 km tour operated by these guys and it was purely unforgettable. Steve's team know what they are doing way beyond your expectation. They made the challenge not only easy but also one of the best experiences I have ever had. They care about, look after, and encourage you in every way. Make sure you give them a go!

Had the privilege of riding in the ABSA Cape Epic Trippers with Steve, Di and the team. Even though we were punished on the ride (that's the route's fault!), we were treated like royalty at camp and superbly well looked after! Would definitely recommend the Trippers for their terrific hospitality, cycling expertise (Steve gave me a few pointers along the way) and overall, the great fun experience!

We have known Di and Steve for almost 7 years now, doing Daytripping at the Epic each year. Each year is more fun than the previous! They are seriously organised and just awesome people, the entire crew! Love you guys lots and anyone considering doing a tour with them will not regret it! You will LOVE IT!

This was the highlight of my trip - despite poor fitness making some of the climbs fairly tough. It was great to ride a mixture of surfaces in the beautiful backdrop of table mountain.
Excellent and friendly guides and support including lots of info from the office in advance

This is a fantastic tour touching on many of the iconic spots along the coast down to Cape Point. From boats to bikes, beaches to mountain tops, there is something for everyone. The guides are fun, professional, courteous and friendly. It's a day well spent in Cape Town.

I've taken this tour twice in the past two months. On my first trip (hosting 10 students from the US) we had no problems, other than wrangling our kids and keeping to the schedule. On my second trip (with my dad), we had similar issues sticking to the time table. We got delayed, missed our boat departure and took a later one, and the rest of the day felt hurried and rushed. We still managed to do everything, but we didn't have much time to soak it in at each stop. We also had some difficulty with the bikes (mine in particular). Since this tour uses e-bikes, there is a bit of technology involved that Im not familiar with, but it took a few combos of bike & battery to get a winning combination for me (which again delayed us by at least 30 minutes).

With updated/fixed/newer e-bikes, this would be a 5-⭐ rating. It's such a beautiful tour and lots of fun!

The best cycle tour operator in South Africa. These guys are passionate about cycling and know the country like the back of their hands. On top of all that they have a great selection of bicycles in great condition.

September, 2019

We rented several bicycles from Day Trippers. They where extremely poorly maintained, the shocks where ceased and the brakes failed on one of the bikes. Another bike the rubber came loose and fell into the derailer, breaking the chain. Fortunately no-one was injured, but this good fortune in no way reflects on the bike! Poor service
