Description

This journey takes you on a drive from Cape Town CBD along the breathtaking Atlantic Seaboard. Enjoy a drive through the residential suburb of Clifton and proceed to Camps Bay where you will stop for a picture shoot at the Twelve Apostle's Mountain range.

Feast your eyes on amazing coastline views as you drive along the world famous Chapman's Peak Drive - a 9km route with 114 curves - to stop at the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay, where you will visit a fishing harbour where you will have the option of taking a boat trip to Seal Island is offered.

Your next stop is Cape Point Nature Reserve which is home to an entire floral kingdom and many populations of animals. Look out for ostrich and a large variety of bird species, view zebra, eland, Chacma baboons and the many species of reptiles and small mammals as you make your way to the historic lighthouse at Cape Point.

Here you will have the option of either walking or taking a funicular ride to the upper lighthouse. Here you will be able to look back in awe at the beauty of the Cape Peninsula and the surrounding areas. Tick one off your bucket list as you proceed to the most south western point of Africa and the mythical meeting place of the Atlantic and Indian oceans, the Cape Of Good Hope.

Drive along the beautiful False Bay and stop at Boulders Beach to visit the Penguin Colony. We then drive through the naval town of Simon's Town, and the towns of Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg en-route to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

The Journey ends with a drive back to your hotel or accommodation in Cape Town CBD.

November, 2018

We booked 3 tours, all our guides were amazing and informative. The day was rushed due to booking staff miscommunicating pick up times and locations resulting in less time at certain places. We were also misinformed about the options such as Table Mountain, our driver could take us there at the end of our trip but couldn't give us a lift back due to wait times and another tour to begin for the afternoon. We distinctly requested a tour in order to go up the moutain when booking and so it was a surprise to hear from the guide that he couldnt wait for us in the end. All in all it seems like the booking staff have no idea about the locations or time constraints. It would certainly be an idea to get them to go on the tours in order to further explain the tours in detail. We felt as though it was just about booking and getting our money and then riding on the goodwill and informative guides to calm our patience.

We had a wonderful trip with Chippa to Langa on Nelson Mandela day and we
were impressed by his Happy Feet project! Good job

Very good selection of cape town tours. The cape peninsula tour, winelands tour, and the township tour are great!

Our guide, James, for the Township tour was brilliant! 😊 I highly recommend this tour.
