Cape Peninsula Day Tour

After pick up from your accommodation (in and around Cape Town Central CBD, between 8:00 and 9:00am) our day starts in the historic Bo Kaap where you get to experience the Rainbow Nation at its finest, beautiful colourful houses and local Malay flavours.

From here we head to Boulders Beach to visit some penguin friends in Simons Town

Our early picnic lunch inside the Cape of Good Hope is influenced by our ancestors and full of South African flavours. Enjoyed on a beautiful lawn with an option for a beach walk or swim in a tidal pool (weather dependent)

Keep yours eyes peeled for free roaming animals and the unique Fynbos at Cape Point. After lunch you can choose to hike up to the old lighthouse or take a leisurely coastal stroll past Dias Beach, to The Cape Of Good Hope. To wind down after all that physical activity, we then head off to taste some of South Africa’s finest wine with a killer view of Noordhoeks Long Beach.

Once you are a little pickled and sitting next to a new friend it is time to enjoy the majestic and breathtaking views of Chapmans Peak drive and a view of Hout Bay Harbour (subject to road closures) It is here that we stop to enjoy the view and taste some delicious South African treats before heading back to your accommodation before we all have a cry about the fact that the best day has just come to an end

It was a cool rainy morning when Diane picked us up at our hotel but the team at Lucky and Lost made us feel warm and welcomed to Cape Town. A full day of sights and great experiences with a knowledgeable guide (Diane) gave us memories we will never forget. The day turned sunny and we could not have had a better time. This tour and the Lucky and Lost team are wonderful and hip and the Cape tour is a must do while you're in Cape Town. I would give them a ten rating if I could.

We had the most amazing time in Cape Town with Lucky and Lost Tours! I'm so thankful I found this company - the tour was well-organized, thorough, and so much fun! I never considered myself a "group tour" person, but this tour was relaxed and allowed us to see so much of Cape Town in one day - for a great price! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cape Town/South Africa, especially singles and young couples!

The wine tour was fantastic. We were picked up on time, the van was comfortable, the playlist was lovely and the guide was very informative about all the places we visited and about South African culture in general. The lunch was delicious and the whole story behind it was really nice. If you are looking for an unique experience, this is definitely the best choice in Cape Town!

Lucky and Lost Tours is a great way to spend a day in Cape Town and surrounding areas. We saw an amazing variety of places on their "classic" tour, from the heart of the city down to the Cape of Good Hope. The friendly and energetic staff go out of their way to make sure everyone is enjoying their day and are very knowledgeable about the history, culture and lore of the area. I highly recommend this tour!

Lucky and Lost does it right! They take a handful or two of tourists in their small van to Cape Town's hot spots. Ziggy, the tour guide is warm and personable and funny. On the drives between destinations, she plays South African music and provides tons of information about the areas. A troop of wild baboons prevented us from picnicking on the grass, but Ziggy knew we wanted to get out of the van to check them out, and was savvy enough to know we could. Our homemade vegetable curry stew and African bread were just as delicious from the park's enclosed area. From pickup to dropoff, both at my hotel, the day was flawless and fun. I recommend them highly.
