Description

The western half of False Bay – stretching from Strandfontein all the way to Cape Point is one of the finest boat based whale watching sites in South Africa. This is a very intimate experience for a maximum of 12 guests per trip.

Most of this trip is taking part in an area that is sheltered from the open ocean, surrounded by stunning views & provides an ideal winter home for the Southern Right Whales. They visit each year between June & November to mate, calve, or simply to get away from the icy Antarctic winter. Interacting with these gigantic & magnificent mammals (the size of 12 elephants) alongside our boat is an experience that will stay with you for the rest of your life. Be ready to photograph one breaching or giving you a friendly wave with its tail!

Sightings of Brydes whales, Humpback whales, Orcas and Dolphins are also possible.

We only host 12 people on a tour to ensure that you receive our personal attention & have a totally un-obscured view for fantastic photo opportunities

September, 2018

We were supposed to do a whale watching tour with them but our first date was cancelled due to weather conditions and the second date we finally didn't take as weather conditions were unsure the day before as well.
What I can say is that we were in close contact with them all the time and that they were helpful and responding all the time via WhatsApp.
They were okay for our cancellation without any problems as it was also our last day in Capetown.
So in contrary to former reviews I can say that the service was good and friendly even though we did not really become their client. The four stars is just because I can't really tell about the actual tour.

Great trip, we saw 3 whales, one a longer time. We didn't approach them in a disturbing manner. There were several guides, all of them giving very good information about the animals. Just positive, thank you!

July, 2019

Had a great boat ride, the crew tried really hard to track any whales. After 2 hours we had only seen one from a distance, but they kept persisting and voilà!

Amazing morning with stunning "whale watching" , you guys went way beyond our expectations.......loved the trip!!!😊😊😊
